Welcome to the core anamsong mind-body practice!
I developed this practice for my daily life as a way to help keep me on track with my health, emotional well-being, and to help me tap into my creative inspiration as an entrepreneur. It keeps me tuned into my soul wisdom so that I can guide my day-to-day life from a place of authentic needs and desires.
What exactly do I mean by “core anamsong mind-body practice?”
The core anamsong mind-body practice is a distillation and synthesis of everything I’ve learned, taught, researched, and applied over the years for my own health and as a master mind-body coach.
Because I’m a busy person, I wanted to create a way to consistently, yet easily, tap into the wisdom of my body, emotions, and soul to help guide my life. I wanted it to be simple, but still work in conjunction with all the other skills and tools I use and teach as part of my coaching practice. I also wanted it to be so powerful that it could be used as both preventative and prescriptive medicine for my physical and emotional wellbeing. And now I want to share it with you!
This practice builds on the basic skills from my free eBook “Hear Your Soul, Heal Yourself” and helps you develop an easy and regular mind-body practice. In this eBook and the companion files, you’ll begin by learning two major mind-body skills: The Art of Observing and The Art of Listening. These are the two most important keys to mind-body healing.
In the Art of Observing section, I’ll help you get started by identifying your mind’s activity. This can include things such as:
- worrying about money
- comparing yourself to others
- over analyzing
- beating yourself up
- projecting negatively into the future
- planning
- problem-solving
From there we’ll start to notice the various sensations in your body, which may include:
- tension or muscle contraction in particular areas
- tingling sensations
- changes in breathing patterns
- loosening or constricted breathing
- some sort of physical pain
Next you’ll tune into and name your emotions, which will be some variation on:
- Sadness
- Happiness
- Fear
- Anger
In the Art of Listening section, you’ll listen to the messages from your body, your emotions, and even your soul. This is where the magic happens and true healing begins. I’ll help you to tune into your soul wisdom to help you interpret the incredible depth of understanding you already possess inside of you in regards to your emotional, physical, and creative well-being. You’ll easily release tension, calm yourself, move through emotions, and recognize the guidance your soul wisdom is giving you.
